Hmm?

Why Horses?
Are Horses That Different?

Whoa Nelly! If you clicked on this tab you may be wondering why horses and that’s a fair question!

What you need to know:

Most horses are excellent teachers. They engage our learning. We get to think, process, feel without all the homework.

Horses are sentient beings. They think, sense and feel in a hyper-viligent way. It’s their superpower! They can help us cut through the bull because they don’t know how to pretend.

Horses. Like people have distinct personalities and social roles within their herd. This allows us to glean amazing insight into our own lives through theirs in regards to our learning, relationships, personal and professional lives.

Unlike Charlie Brown’s teacher (wa, wa, wa, wa, wa, wa, wah), horses make learning fun, applicable and interactive. You won’t receive a boring lecture and you’ll actually walk away with some interesting information you can begin applying in real life.

When I left being with the horses I felt lighter, more focused. I had an epiphany about how I was showing up in the round pen is how I’m showing up at home, work and life in general. I’m ready to stop anticipating what can go wrong and anticipate what can go right. Thanks Paige.

Three things stick out the most from my one-on-one session with Dr. Paige and her herd. First, it’s uncanny how much we are like those horses! Second, I’m the alpha mare in life. LOL I can be very protective and downright bossy. Third, I felt a peace I haven’t felt in years just being in the presence of the horses, especially Snuggles.
